Supplementary insurance
Your belongings are insured by Eurobox Self Storage for up to €5,000. You pay no premium for this insurance; our rental rate for the storage unit includes this cover. If the value of the goods you store exceeds the amount we insure, it may be advisable to take out additional insurance so that you are fully compensated in the event of any damage.
Why choose storage with additional insurance?
You should take out additional cover if the value of the goods stored in your unit exceeds the insured sum under Eurobox’s policy and you want to be certain of full compensation should anything happen. If you are underinsured, the policy will not pay out the full value. For just €1 (incl. VAT) per month, you can insure an extra €1,000. For example, if you wish to insure your household contents for €10,000, we cover the first €5,000 free of charge and you pay €5.00 (incl. VAT) per month for the remaining €5,000 over the term. Cancelling the additional insurance is as flexible as cancelling a storage unit; we apply a 14-day notice period.
Where can you arrange additional insurance?
You can arrange the additional insurance directly with the branch manager at your Eurobox location. They will set it up when you sign your storage unit rental agreement if you so wish, and can provide any further information you need. Please contact your branch manager for more information:
