From house to home: how storage space helped us with the transition
A new step, but no key straight away. When Jeroen and Lisa finally found their dream home, they were overjoyed. Their current flat in Haarlem sold quickly, but as often happens with moves, the timing wasn’t ideal. The completion date for their new home was still a few months away, and they faced a big problem: where were they going to store all their belongings?
A temporary rental home was an option, but it was furnished and had hardly any space for their belongings. Storing them with family was not a viable solution either; they did not want to burden anyone with their furniture, moving boxes and personal items. They had to look for an alternative.

They could safely store their furniture, clothing and even their beloved vinyl collection until their new home was ready to move into.

Moving in phases
Knowing that the storage was only temporary, Jeroen and Lisa decided to tackle their move in phases. During the first weeks in their temporary home they only brought the absolute essentials. The rest stayed at Eurobox, so they didn’t have to worry about boxes getting in the way.
When the moving day to their new house finally arrived, they realised how much peace this approach had brought them. No last-minute chaos, no overflowing rooms, but a clear and structured transition. Because their belongings were already neatly and securely stored, they were able to transfer everything to their new home at their own pace.
A smooth transition to the new house
Thanks to the storage space at Eurobox their transition from their old apartment to their new house went smoothly, without stress. They were in no rush to sort everything out in one day and could focus on furnishing and personalising their new home.
